Writing Standard
- Evidence before abstraction. Every node, relationship, or structural judgment must be grounded in observable evidence, real-world systems, documented capabilities, or clearly identified constraints.
- Structure before trend. Entries must explain why a development changes the map, what layer it affects, and how it connects to other layers. Isolated news summaries or generic technology commentary do not qualify.
- Cross-layer traceability. Important claims should be traceable across relevant layers such as energy, compute, networks, intelligence, robotics, industrial systems, capital, institutions, geopolitics, and society.
- Conditional, not deterministic. The map may identify structural pressure, directional advantage, or narrowing options, but it must distinguish observed facts from analytical inference and must not present uncertain trajectories as inevitable.
- Real-world anchoring. Companies, products, institutions, infrastructure, capacity, costs, deployment limits, and measurable operating conditions should be used whenever they clarify how a structural relationship works in practice.

- Promotion, demotion, movement, and removal. A node may be promoted when its systemic importance grows, demoted when it becomes secondary, moved when new evidence places it more accurately in another layer or branch, archived when it remains historically useful, or removed when it no longer reflects the active structure.
- Monthly review. The map is reviewed at the end of each calendar month for additions, removals, archival decisions, promotions, demotions, moves, outdated relationships, unfilled branches, and evidence that changes the relative importance of layers or nodes.
- Six monthly change classifications. Reviews use six separate labels:
- Added. A new node enters the active map after sufficient evidence establishes its structural relevance.
- Removed. A node leaves because the original structural judgment is no longer valid, useful, distinct, or sufficiently supported.
- Archived. A node leaves the active map but is preserved because it remains useful for understanding an earlier pathway.
- Promoted. An existing node gains greater systemic importance or moves from a supporting role into a more central position.
- Demoted. An existing node remains valid but becomes less central because its scarcity, influence, or explanatory value has declined.
- Moved. An existing node is reassigned to another layer or branch because new evidence provides a more accurate structural classification.
- Transparent change history. The map page should present a concise “Newly Added and Recently Removed” summary.
